We’re helping a great E-learning company find remote junior web developers. Like every role we work with at CoderList, this opportunity is entry-level and requires no commercial experience.
Your role will begin with getting to grips with the product, pairing with other devs in the team and watching what’s going on. You’ll be exposed to the planning process and be a part of architectural discussions so you can learn and understand the decisions that are made. You’ll also have some time in the job to spend on self study for any new technologies you’re required to learn.
As soon as you’re comfortable, you’ll start taking on small development tasks to get you used to working on the code base. You’ll also take on prototyping work for potential new features. As your familiarity with the product and confidence as a developer grows, you’ll take on larger and more significant tasks.
Even as a junior, you’ll get to work on everything - front and back-ends, mobile apps, and google cloud deployment. You will have a rare opportunity to see the whole process of product definition and development, be a part of systems architecture design, and learn and contribute at every level of the cycle.
Degrees are not important, and applications from self-taught developers and people changing careers or coming from non-traditional backgrounds are welcomed.
